Big Data Architect
Big Data Architect will architect and be the key in designing, maintaining and making the big data system available for data mining. Architect should have implemented solutions involving Hadoop ecosystem and must have been majorly involved in modelling, implementing, configuration management, monitoring, debugging and performance tuning of big data systems.. Architect should design the Hadoop structure and work with Data scientists and technically lead the big data ETL developers to drive deep insights into data.
Key Responsibilities:
Will design, maintain and evolve the big data solution required for data mining by data scientists.
Will be closely consulted by source big data systems of this mining warehouse to implement solutions in big data.
Act independently to identify and evangelize opportunities for improved analysis and efficiency through better data modeling of the big data solution.
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
Advanced degree/experience in Big data solutions implementation.
Overall IT experience of more than 12 years with atleast 3 to 4 years in the nosql, big data space.
Experience in Hadoop ,MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra and also in solutions involving Impala, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper and/or Sqoop is a must.
Experience in architecting atleast one big data solution from modeling to visualization is an absolute must.
Experience in technically leading ETL developers and Visualization analysts in the big data space.
Cater to different metrics from stakeholders and design datamarts towards the same.
Programming in R or Python is an additional advantage
To be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL-like query languages
